The animation is great and Bugs and Elmer are both quite good. He mastered Bugs' design in my opinion, and definitely strengthened the vitality of an otherwise lame cartoon. Rabbit Rampage is a pretty good sequel to an iconic original. 'Rabbit Rampage' (1955) A pretty gimmicky sequel to 'Duck Amuck', this one is carried hard by the man that animated nearly every frame of it: Ben Washam. The animation is reliably amazing and colorful while the dialogue is also terrific.

Most are strong and quite funny, especially all of the hat exchanges and of course the references to Warner Bros. Yes, his reactions are far from Daffy’s as he is a better fit for an angry, frustrated protagonist, but having the animator be Elmer Fudd was a good choice and that ending was very memorable. Still, the film remains hugely entertaining as it is a lot of fun following Bugs Bunny be in this predicament for once. Clearly it’s not as amazing as that iconic cartoon as it’s naturally much less original. This short acts as a sequel to 1953’s ‘Duck Amuck’. Rabbit Rampage is a 1955 animated short film from the Looney Tunes series.
