After Claus goes missing to kill the Draco (dinosaur) that killed his mother, Flint, with the help of Boney and Duster go looking for him. The game opens with Flint, who soon finds out his wife, Hinawa has died, leaving him to raise their sons, Claus and Lucas. The various chapters of the story record the trials and tribulations of a boy named Lucas, his family, and friends, who reside in Tazmily Village and band together to rid Nowhere Island of the Pig Army's influence. The invaders also introduce new technology and infrastructure to the islands. The Pig Mask Army slowly constructs a police state, while performing bizarre experiments on the land's flora and fauna.
The Pig Mask Army is named for its creator, Pokey (Porky) Minch. Chaos ensues in the Nowhere Islands after an invasion by the Pig Mask Army, humans in uniforms that resemble pigs. Mother 3 is set in a land called the Nowhere Islands. Immediately before its release, Mother 3 was the Most Wanted Game in Japan according to Weekly Famitsu. The game has remained near the top of Famitsu's Most Wanted Games list since its announcement, only once falling below number 10 to number 11. Details of its development were kept secret since it was announced in June 2003 during a Mother 1 + 2 television commercial in Japan. It is the third and final video game in the Mother trilogy of video games, known as EarthBound outside of Japan.
It was released in Japan on April 20, 2006. Mother 3 (マザースリー, Mazā Surī?) is a role-playing video game developed by HAL Laboratory and Brownie Brown, and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance handheld game console. This will be my next project after FFIV so here is a taster of the game.
